Have just been LOSing a new map, and tokens can see through windows whether they are open or closed?

Correct, the open close feature in that case is for player token movement only.

yeah, that is their purpose :) They just block movement, but vision goes always through it; at least my windows work like that :p When you had a different experience with windows, then clean your windows! :p (just joking of course :D)

Thank you all for this - it absolutely does make sense if we were starting from scratch.
Is there an update link to explain what has changed in each update so I don't ask dopey questions...?
