I'm getting a lot of complaints that the turn bell isn't going off. Seems like it's been something that has come in the past few weeks.

Double check the "Player: Ring bell on turn" campaign option is set to "On" by the GM. The default is off.

Yes, provided you have the option to ring bell on turn switched on.

We have had several games recently where some players could hear the bell and others could not. sometimes it wouldnt play at all, despite double-checking that the setting was set properly. We are testing to see if there is potentially an extension conflict causing it, but have not found one yet.

Did not test it yet, but how is this sound created? Via the OS? Then I might check whether OS sounds (I hope they are called like that) are turned off in the settings :)

Kel is correct; I believe that the program uses one of the built in Window sounds rather than anything created by Unity.

Actually, this was changed in a build a few weeks ago to use a default sound played through the same audio source as the dice sounds.
And, as I wrote this answer, that illuminated the issue. I'll get a fix posted in next release build so that system sounds play regardless of whether dice sounds disabled.

AH! Yes, a lot of people turned off dice sounds...I do believe you have correctly found the issue. Thanks!
