Summary:
As the title says, when opening the NPCs by Type or by CR window, the windows are extremely slow and laggy (to move, to scroll, to resize, etc.) if I have too many monsters loaded (and by "too many", even just the monster manual alone is enough).
Ruleset(s):
5e
New Campaign / FGC Migrated Campaign:
Both/Either
Extensions/Themes:
No extension, default theme - but also occurs on other themes (tested with default, FG Light and FG Simple Gray themes)
Modules Loaded:
Monster Manual
Operating System / Language Setting:
Win10, UK
Mid-end PC (Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM)
Steps to Reproduce:
Open NPCs window, then "By Type" or "By CR". Attempt to scroll, resize, and move window.
Tested in 5e, latest update, created a new campaign, then tried various loadouts:
No modules: fine
Basic rules: fine
Monster manual: very laggy
Volo's OR MToF: very slightly laggy
Volo's AND MToF: noticeably laggy, but not as bad as MM
Monster manual + other: almost unusably laggy
Collapsing the groups down improves a little, but it still lags.
