Actually it appears I see it moving about 1 MB every 2-3 minutes.

Network speed test shows me going plenty fast.

I'm guessing their server is throttled due to demand. I've restarted again and it's still super slow. I'll try again later. Killing it for now.

We had one other report of a slow download this morning; but it cleared up for that user trying again 30 minutes later.

There is a sporadic update slowdown issue we haven't been able to identify yet, that affects download speeds but doesn't show up in server utilization or logs. Usually waiting a bit and trying again clears that up.

It's still on our list to figure out long term.

Well it stopped updating at all when I just tried it now. Not even slow - just dead when it reached 0/23. I'll keep trying periodically through today. Even rebooted my machine.

And now it finally worked with no delay at all - ok I'm good.

Flood protection or QoS? Anything in your modem/router logs?

Doubt it as others were experiencing the same thing. Also, was able (I tried after that failed) to do some pretty intensive network usage applications that worked just fine so that points to what Moon Wizard hinted at - a server side issue. But it worked for me eventually after a few hours of trying so all is well for me.

It looks like it was just a glitch; I experienced the same thing but after ignoring it for an hour or so it was back to normal.
