I'm seeing a minor issue with this great new feature.
It doesn't actually cancel movement; it basically just moves the 'target' back to where it started which (if done repeatedly) ends up with a bunch of overlapping tokens that get progressively far from center.

Is this happening when hitting the Escape key? When moving to a new waypoint before mouse up if I hit escape key it cancels that one waypoint creation. Is there a way for the player to cancel the whole movement?

Yes, I should have specified that. Set the first 'waypoint' and then press escape. Ideally escape should go back one 'waypoint' at a time (in my opinion).

This is as designed. ESC only cancels the current operation. If you want to remove waypoints, drag-and-drop the waypoint on to an adjacent waypoint.

What is a usecase for Esc?

Think of the ESC key as a panic button. While you are currently dragging, you can quickly change your mind. You can achieve the same effect if you click the right-mouse button while dragging.

Interesting. I feel I'm missing a lot of info about new features... Carl, can you take a look on this short video please? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but dragging and dropping the waypoint is not working smoothly...

I am not getting the drag and drop to remove waypoint also. I drag the last waypoint the the previous waypoint and it makes a new waypoint.

Ok, so apparently the drag and drop does not work on the last waypoint. Only way to cancel last waypoint is to hit escape before mouse up placement.
Maybe hold escape and drag last waypoint to previous waypoint to remove last waypoint?
Also there is no way currently to move the last placed token. Could be get a hold ALT key while dragging to move last waypoint?

To clear up some terminology: token -> waypoint -> end point. Dragging a waypoint onto an adjacent waypoint will remove that way. Dragging the endpoint creates a new waypoint, so that new waypoint is the one that is adjacent to the endpoint.
If you drag the token, it clears all existing movement.
It looks like you are attempting to clear planned movement from the player side. That's on my list, but is not currently implemented.

Dragging the token clears all existing movement. That is what I was looking for. It works on player side. Thanks!
