The Line of Sight is working a bit odd.
This happens in only one place in a large map.
The map, I downloaded from Internet to get a nicer looking map. But the same thing happens on the map that following the campaign.
I myself added all the Line of Sights and hav no problem but in just this place.

I'm not seeing any issues.

The terrain occluders let the player token see into the area but not out of it unless the token is inside the area in which case the token can see out in both directions. So in your first screenshot the player is at the top of the stairs and can not see anything beyond the bottom of the stairs. Once the token moves onto the stairs the token can see both up and down outside the occluder; and once they exit the occluder they can no longer see the top of the stairs. So as far as I can see from your images everything is working as expected.

Please look again. PLAYER_Step2.PNG. The player can not see along the upper wall as they should.
I attached all the pictures to make it easier to understand the where the problem occured. And to make it easy to reproduce.

Hi Cozy - just to let you know that the link in your last post isn't working, might want to try attaching it again.

I can see it? But I send it as an attachement.

OK, I see what you mean now. I don't know what is happening. What happens if you delete the wall line?

If I delete the Terrain in the stairs it works as intended. But the you do not get the effect from the stairs.
If I delete the wall lines I get other really strange effects with what is hidden.
It also depends where on the steps I place the PC

I whipped a quick map together using one of the tilesets provided with FGU and I get the same result - looks like it might be an engine bug rather than a specific map issue? I've attached some images showing the LoS setup for the map and the client's view when the token was on the north and south sides of the stairs (resetting the LoS after the move).

I'm not seeing anything just as bad as what your images show; but there may be something going on. I'm not sure. https://youtu.be/KALwSxoYoh0

What I see is that you get the exact same problem. One of the sides (upper part in your video) does not show what should be visible. Try entering the stairs futher down on the screen and see if you get the same effect as humby got in hes pictures.

I also tested by entering the room from other direction with the same kind of line placements on the stairs. From those direction there are no problem.

Your video certainly seems less extreme than what I was seeing, although you were going through the centre of the passage and I saw that the effect got worse as I moved the token south (I was seeing less of the north side of the room when I should have been seeing more).

I've exported that map (see attached) if you (or the relevant developer(s)) would like to check whether you get the same results if you have the same map...

I think that might be due to that Zacchaeus's upper wall had a different angle to the stairs such that the LoS was maybe still correct (but difficult to see in the video) :) (when the angle to the stairs is bigger (or smaller, depending on where you measure the angle) then some parts get hidden of course) Certainly not as extreme as in your screenshots

With that map I can reproduce the error, but I also get an error message when moving on the map: [ERROR] Layer parent id is equal to layer id.

Maybe that points to some culprit?

Oki, I found the culprit (maybe). When you move the top very left terrain node away such that it does not overlap with the wall node there, then it works :) When I snap the terrain node back to the wall node, then I get your error again :) (hopefully that helps the developers then :) )

Hmm, that's weird - I don't get any errors.

Regarding moving the terrain corner - try moving the token one space forward. When I do that, it misbehaves again - only this time it's a little further along the north wall:

Yeah, you are right, it has somewhat to do with the red wall there (plus the terrain), when you move that one can move this "LoS Break" around, not sure what is going on there :D

Thanks for all the sleuthing everyone. I've tracked down an issue with terrain occluders and it should be fixed in the next update.

Just tried my test map with the new update and it's behaving correctly now.
