Crit Fail save and immunities

Hello, I was playing the Slithering this weekend and came across this bug. The Sorcerer in the party not knowing that Ochre jellies were immune to electricity fired a lightning bolt at them. They crit failed their saves. And when she rolled damage it applied damage anyway. It fully resists when it's not a crit. Image attached for reference.
