Hey

Our group has a problem with weapon Proficiency in Starfinder on FGU.

Our Mechanic has taken the Longarm Proficiency but the when he roll for attack he gets a "[ATTACK (R)] Laser rifle, azimuth [vs. EAC] [NONPROF-4]".
We have tryed to add the feat proficiency on both /ability/Feats & /ability/Proficiency. But nothing works.
And we have tripple cheaked the wording, it the same as the proficiency on the Soldier. where it does't say NONPROF-4.

Is it something i have mist or is it a Unity thing ATM?

MOD: moved to SFRPG forum, I think you will get better/quicker answers.

Was a bit unsure on where to put the thread.

Did you drag/drop the feat to Proficiency or type it?

I have tried both.
It works in FGC to just drag and drop, but not in FGU

Could you maybe make a screenshot of the weapons in the actions tab?

Did you take the weapons out of the CRB? It looks like their link is missing but that might just be the theme...

I tried a new character again and now it worked. Not sure what the difference was.
i can't make heads or tails of this.
But problem solved.
So, thanks for the help :)

That would be the next thing I would have recommended. Nice that it works now.

We had this issue with an operative and advanced melee weapon proficiency. We solved it by deleting and recreating the character. We _think_ it may have something to do with there being 2 versions of operative (every class) available, one with a P (shared) and the other just being from the core rulebooks. GM had not modified or copied the classes at all. The P one is the one that worked. Not being the GM I can't screenshot anything until next Monday (when we play again).

Can you try turning off any extensions you have loaded and see if it works.
I'm wondering because not sure links are working correctly with that Theme extension, as you just have squares for links.

Ok it depends on when the character was originally made. Awhile ago we made changes to Prod that added field to read for the Prof type because if the name was changed it would not work. That change required players to delete there profs and re add them.

Hey
I tried to recreate the problem, and was unsuccessful.
Tryed with the wood theme extention, tryed both Core rulebooks. tryed it on a new character and old one.
Look like everything is in order now :-)
