Hi

One of my players downloaded the Mac version and the tabs on the right hand side aren't there when he logs into the game.

No pc, notes, races and such. It's just blank. Any idea what the problem could be?

What version is he running? Are they trying to use the maximize window button? Don't, just stretch the window, maximize doesn't always work.

Hi

That doesn't work either. He's running the latest version from the FG webpage and gets error messages on start up

What is the version and date code? What extensions and themes are in use? What is his display resolution? What is their display scaling? Can you attach logs?
