Is there a way to transfer created npc's from FGC to FGU? Also, how can you export pc's made in FGC to FGU?

MOD: moved to separate post since it did not apply to other thread.

Welcome!

Yes, just export the character from FGC;
- Character Selection screen > Edit List (brown pencil) > Export (blue arrow)

Import in FGU;
- Character Selection > Import Character

About the NPCs: Just copy&paste your data directory of FGC to FGU's data directory, that should copy all your NPCs, campaigns etc :) (or just copy&paste the singly items needed) Characters created and used in your campaigns would be transferred in that way, too, such that you do not necessarily need to export them :) (assuming you are asking as DM)

You can do both using the /export function. The characters will be exported as pregenerated characters which you can then just add to your FGU campaign. Or you can just export the PCs seperately. If you use the command /exportchar without a name then it will export all of the characters in one file which you can then import into FGU. Or you can individually export them if you use /exportchar <charactarename>

The NPCs will need to be exported to a module using the /export function.

Oh, right, /export of course also works for NPCs :) Depends a bit now what exactly you want to do, JimC :) (whether you just want to transfer your campaigns or not etc.)

Funnily, in FGC is also the macro /exportnpc, but I have never used it and do not know what its purpose is compared with the normal export :D (it looks like the same as /exportchar, so, probably for PCs created as NPC, but I am not sure what the technical distinction is)

Thank you for the information. I was able to export them and save myself time doing them again.
