Skill Checks on Actions Tab?

How could I place a button/whatever on the character sheet's Actions tab, which allows me to perform a skill check? Thee effects only seem to modify a check, not prompting one.

Skill checks are make from the skills tab. The effects available will modify that roll if present on the CT.

Okay, so it's not possible - at least without tnkering with the character sheet?

Yes, you would need to write an extension if you wanted to move the skill checks from the skills tab to the actions tab.

This extension won't have all the skill checks, but it will get you half way there.
