Lost Mines of Phandelver need 1-2 more players
Curse of Strahd needs 2-3 more players
Character starting level & equipment: Level 1 (Curse of Strahd will start at level 3)
Character restrictions: Players are restricted to core books, Volos guide to Monsters, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Unearthed Arcana, Xanathar's guide to everything, and other module specific content.
Other details: Session 0 is free, and session 1 is free as well (Tips are appreciated)
Lost Mines of Phandelver
Action packed module where players seek out the Rockseeker brothers who have gone missing while searching for the long lost Forge of Spells. Players can expect to face goblins, bandits, orcs, and more. This is a good starting point for players and let's them have their first sandbox experience in a story that is not only fun but easy to follow.
Curse of Strahd
Players are drawn into Barovia, where they and the inhabitants are plagued by the infamous Strahd Von Zarovich. Players are treated to a sandbox that due to the tarroka deck is a different experience each time the module is played. This is suited for players who want to explore a Gothic Horror themed sandbox where they have the freedom to face off against Strahd in whatever way they can imagine.
