[Question] Cloud vs LAN

Hi Team,

What's the difference between hosting a cloud campaign or a LAN campaign other than port forwarding? Is one better than the other in terms of performance?

LAN is better for performance as you have a direct connection without a middle connectivity broker. If you want to maximise your performance and you're prepared to make sure you have operational port forwarding for UDP port 1802 then use LAN mode. But, as the FG devs have mentioned, this is pretty much there just to allow individuals to do that themselves and if you have any major issues with it in your architecture then FG support may well say you should use Cloud connectivity as the "fix".
