I'm trying to demo fantasy grounds to see if it will be right for my gaming group and it wont open at all, the updater works just fine. I should note it is fantasy grounds classic.

Welcome Gandalf

Please try these steps:

1. Go to the FG application folder specified by FG Settings. (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\, unless you changed it during first install)
2. Delete FantasyGrounds.exe
3. Run FantasyGroundsUpdater.exe to start a new Update.

Check to see whether your anti virus has quarantined Fantasy Grounds.

That’s not the right event. Look for one at the time stamp of trying to start FG and for the FantasyGrounds.exe application.
