Initiative and Hero Points

Apologies if I missed this, I'm new to the BRP module. Is there a way to do the optional initiative roll? The game I'm running uses the Legend system from Mongoose and I'm trying to see if it's possible to approximate most of that system in BRP. Thanks, appreciate it.
