I looked around to see if I could find anything about this, but came up short. I imagine it’s been addressed before (hopefully to say that it’s on the roadmap!)

The maps Dynamic Dungeons are churning out, as well as maps from a few other places, are amazing. Are there any plans to support videos as maps?

It's definitely something people would like to see, but certainly not until after FGU graduates from beta (and even then likely not as videos are very large files and streaming that to your players, while also doing a voice chat probably, is not an easy task)

There is no support for animated tokens or map files yet. We do offer an effects layer on images to give near the same look as the maps from Dynamic Dungeons, just may take some work within FG.

Consider this a vote

I appreciate the technical issues around this, but worth considering that other VTTs like Foundry already do this, maps and tokens both.

Vote on the wish list. Please don't revive every thread on the same topic to repeat your opinion on the matter. Once is enough, and voting on the wish list is even better.
