The link to FGC Patch Notes doesn't seem to include 3.3.11's patch notes.

They sometimes take a while before you can see them - depending on your timezone and when the page gets refreshed.

I noticed on the patch notes, that using http it shows the 3.3.11 notes, but using https it doesnt

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/patchnotes.html - doesnt have them.

Show up on both for me. If not, try a different browser of force a refresh (typically shift f5).

I tried different browsers. Still seeing the same thing. Appears on http but not on https.

I have never looked at the patch notes. Checking HTTPS in brave browser and ms edge I see the 3.3.11 notes.

If this helps.

We use a CDN service; so it probably took a little while for the caching to reset.

Hi all,

I have a quick suggestion for the Devs. When there is a major update that could potentially break extensions, could a notice be given on the updater button? Perhaps if the update is minor and won't change the version number, the update button could be turned yellow instead of the normal red color which could be reserved for major updates.

Thank you.

Every update might break extensions. Its pretty much impossible for the SW devs to know everything that community devs have done.

Updates are available prior to deployment in the Test channel to users and community developers so that they have a some time to test their extensions prior to production (Live channel) update. Usually threads discussing this is in this forum; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?55-The-Laboratory Looks like this is in transition though as previously stickied threads are no longer stickied there. (edit: this means you can test for yourself prior to updating your 'live' channel)

In short, the more extensions you use or the more extensive they are, the more you should assume every update will break one or more of your extensions. To limit this impact, do not update until you have time to test. Also, check out the extension threads and see if anyone has reported problems. You can make backups of your FG directories prior to an update so that you can revert if your testing indicates problems.

This is one reason I use so few extensions. I don't want to wait or go through all that myself.
