I know effects count rounds automatically. Is there a way to pass time, like, 30 minutes, so effects lose that many rounds and expire?

Type the round number into the round field. So what, 30x10 >> +300

As LE alludes to in his post effects will only count down if the duration is expressed in minutes or rounds. If you want to advance the CT by a number of rounds you can right click on the curly arrow at the bottom right of the CT and this will open a menu allowing you to advance the rounds by 5, 10, 15 or 20 rounds and this will count down any effects currently on any player or NPC on the CT.

Okay. That's an interesting way to do it but I guess that works.

They should probably do minutes -> hours -> days. Instead of just x5, x10, x15, x20.
