Spell questions

I have two questions about spells for a Wizard specialization I'm working on. I did a bit of searching, but couldn't find an answer either way.
1. Is there any way to make a spell available only to the specialization?
2. Is there any way to automatically grant a spell to a specialization?

Maybe in the future there will be, as the Character Wizard is still in development and doesn't support lvl up yet. For the moment, it is checking what spells are granted to your specialisation in the Phb and add them manually I'm afraid.

Neither 1 nor 2 are as far as I am aware is something that exists in the 5e ruleset so there would be no existing way to automate either since it isn’t built into the ruleset. Neither is it likely that such a thing would ever exist unless the rules changed causing the ruleset to be updated.

You can however make a copy of any spell you want for your archetype and in the source box type in the name of your archetype so that you can use the filters to list only those spells which may help with 1.
