Greetings Team,

One of the players has a +1 warhammer of shock.

I remember if i wanted to do disrupting I had to add that to the player in the CT.

Can some repost or direct me to where I can find this info? Just to be clear I cannot add the addition 1d6 shock dmg to the weapon and have to show up in combat. This is still true? I have to add it as an efffect to the combat tracker?

The Shock property rune adds electricity damage. "shock" damage isn't a damage type.

You can add all of this (except the critical arc effect) to a weapon entry before adding to the PC. Look at the PFRPG2 Items page in the Wiki, the example at the end is pretty much what you want to do (but with different damage types and values).

For valid damage types refer to the [damage type] notes under the Modifiers table in the Wiki PFRPG2 Effects page.

Trenloe, can somone add the PF2 specific wiki pages to our sub forum? I can never find them unless you rescue me in a thread like this.

On a side note I need to add 5 fire resist to an armor would it be on the armor written like this > RESIST: FIRE 5 or would i need to add that resistance to the CT as a 'permanent' effect as long as he is wearing the armor?

Ok i am not figuring out how to write it in the CT. under the character in the CT i am writing > RESIST: Fire 5

This does not seem to be working. Where can i go to see a correct formating example?

Ok i found the info> you can add it to the armor > RESIST: 5 fire

or the CT

In the CT click on the effects Tab of a creature (the little person), then create a new entry (the green button).

On the new created line write RESIST: 5 fire (first the amount, then the damage type).

Here an example from ShadeRavens beautiful work :o

That was exactly what i needed to see. I just need to know and remember how the formatting works inside the combat tracker.

The format of DMG is detailed in the Wiki. It's: Effect modifier (DMG: in this case) the value (5 in this example) then one or more of the following: [bonus], [range], [damage type]*

There's a few examples at the bottom of the Wiki page.

Putting it on the armor item doesn't do anything. The effect needs to be added to the creature once it's in the CT.

Keep referring to the Wiki page - learn how the format is presented and get used to referring to it regularly. To get to the Wiki page while in FG, open the effects window (the one with all the conditions down the left side) and click the "?" button in the top right.

^^^ This is super helpful. I never realized i can access that information 'inside' the FG engine.
