Error with reference manuals ???

Is this a serious mistake? When I click "reference manual", in any module, it does not open, and I get all errors, in red letters. This is the thing: It happens to me with all my reference manuals, seems.

What ruleset? What manual? Are you using any extensions? Does this happen in a new campaign without extensions (including themes which are extensions).

This is from the Dungeon Master Guide, but it happens to everyone. I have almost all the official D&D extensions. This is a campaign that I started a few months ago, when I bought Unity, which I did to learn how to play. When I start FG and check for updates, the program says: "Fantasy Grounds Updater does not have write acces to either the Application or data directory. We can attempt to fix permissions, but will need administrator (...)"

I have launched like administrator, and the problem persists. I don´t know if both problems are linked. I guess so.

I have opened DMG, Player's handbook, an official module, and Xanathar's guide... And the same error happens with all their reference manuals.

I suspect that you should probably reinstall FGU. I don't think you should be getting that message every time you start up FG.

Anyway, seems the problem was solved.

I'd check the version that displays in the top right of the FGU start screen. If it's showing "FGU v4.0.0 ULTIMATE (2020-04-17)" then you probably have multiple different FG app installs on your computer. If it's now showing a date in July you should be good! :)

Also, make sure that the channel is set to Live in the Advanced tab of the Settings, just in case you had used another channel previously to test or retain a version.
