Inspired by a request (https://svn.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?59500-PFRPG-Live-Hitpoints-from-Constitution-Extension&p=525035&viewfull=1#post525035), here is an extension I have made to help track character sanity using the rules from Horror Adventures (https://paizo.com/products/btpy9n5a/discuss&page=10?Pathfinder-Roleplaying-Game-Horror-Adventures).

To avoid my threads taking over the PF1e subforum, I publish most updates in my combo thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?60308-bmos-extensions) (with only major updates in this individual thread which is primarily for discussion and bug reports). To ensure you're kept informed of future updates, either subscribe to that thread (for updates to all my extensions) or create a GitHub account and follow the specific repository of each extension you use. Or just check the releases linked in the first post of the thread periodically.

Your picture seems to show the "UI Preview" build.

is it possible to put a text field below the score, edge and threshold, damage boxes?

if not no worries, we can list the lesser madnesses/madnessess on the Note sheets I guess!

Would it be helpful to have a '7-day rest' button that reduces your sanity damage by your CHA(min 1)?

EDIT: v1.1.0 now has a "Madnesses" list in the sanity window!

hmm it no longer loads into available extensions, is it possibly a naming issue?

EDIT: It was a compression issue.
Looks like FantasyGrounds needs a particular type of zip file which was not the one I used this time.
Redownload now and it should work.

Try redownloading, I shuffled things around a bit this morning.

yeah, I meant the new one doesn't load/register in FG :D

just spied that the names had changed, wondered if it was related, but I'm just clutching at straws

EDIT: It was a compression issue.
Looks like FantasyGrounds needs a particular type of zip file which was not the one I used this time.
Redownload now and it should work.

uhm, non that I can think of beyond maybe splitting the field to lesser/greater madnesses?

some players get really worried when they see "madness" although, to be fair, I've done that with the entry, so maybe not necessary :)

I personally wouldn't use the 7 day rest thing, it's only the CHA modifier, as many other things could affect that, lesser restoration, druids, clerics, counciling, but others might utilise it!

It's possible that users of versions before v1.2.0 might have upgrade issues. Message me if this happens and I will post steps to resolve.

v1.3.0 now has a button for rolling the applicable saving throw and allows copying afflictions between players with drag/drop.

EDIT: v1.4.0 (https://github.com/bmos/FG-PFRPG-Sanity-Tracker/releases/tag/v1.4.0)

Use correct tag for 3.5E ruleset
Add tag to rolls so that users of the "Save versus Tags" extension can use effects to give bonuses against sanity saves. (IFTAG: sanitytracker; SAVE: #)
Add extension version to on-load announcement so users can more easily tell if they are up to date

Suggestion for gitghub/spare time

(from one of my players)

since this is ultimately connected/reliant upon Horror Adventures

within the sanity button window, perhaps there could be few other box fields with Corruption Type; Corruption Level; Manifestation Level and perhaps a list field like the Madness lists, for 'Manifestations'

Corruption Type (is from a list sub pages of this page (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/corruption/))
Corruption Level runs from 0-3 (inclusive)

Manifestation Level is story driven and usually increases manually, so need for automation on that
Manifestations are unique to each Corruption Type, and should be manually entered, though, maybe one of us could make a xml with them all in like the upgraded maladies library module

Food for thought...

and thus turns it into Horror Adventures Extension, really :D

Sorry Bmos, you're going to hate me. :) But a FYE, sanity tracker now throw errors whenever tabbing through a character sheet. Sorry.

I haven't been using FG in quite a while so, while I do try to test new updates, I forget sometimes about some of them :)

It seems it is "bugged" again. I really hate FGs "Updates"... they keep destroying a lot extensions without giving any benefit from their updates...

I get errors when i click at the sanity tracker in the character document.

You don't have to update if you don't want to.
Re Sanity Tracker, I think you just have an old version. I seem to recall publishing an update last month to maintain compatibility with the latest updates.

V1.10 is latest.

God yes you are right.

I thought that when I subscribed to the extension in the Forge, the old file would be overwritten in FG - but that was not the case. I have now deleted the old extension and it works. Thanks a lot for the hint!

Thanks a lot for the hint!It's a very common issue! Even if you had only subscribed on the Forge, it can still happen as sometimes file permissions or something get messed up. Glad to hear it's working :)

Just posted v1.11 to the forge that has compatibility updates for the latest ruleset release.
