WEAPON TABLE - does not include additional weapons you create

Hello,

I'm currently adding quite some content for my Dark Sun campaign and would like to be able to see my Dark Sun weapons (that I've added as weapon items) listed in the 'WEAPON TABLE' as seen on any existing character class object.

I was hoping that the WEAPON TABLE would be automatically populated with items of type 'weapon' (not the magic ones of course but basic ones) but it's unfortunately not the case.

Is this something that could be possible in the future? I don't see how I can provide a list of weapons since:

- tables don't seem to be the way to create lists (they are rollable tables afaik)
- lists don't really exist
- Notes don't seem to be the right way to create lists (or tables for that matter).

Hi Arghun, welcome to FG.

You don't say what ruleset you are using or whether you are using FGC or FGU.

However in 5e certainly weapons you create do appear on the weapons list.

Don't use notes - they are primarily meant for players, not for the GM.

My bad I should have been clear.

I'm talking 5e and oddly enough all the weapons that I've added (they are stored in my campaign, not yet in a module) do NOT show up.

I can indeed use a Story for that. I'm able to create a table on my story item but... when I want to drag the weapon item into my story it gets pasted outside of my table. Is there a way to drag an item object in a table to reference it in that table ?

I would like to mimic the Weapons table as much as possible so that players can drag from the 'list'

You’ll need to export your weapons into a module and share that with your players. You can’t add a link to a formatted text table - as far as I am aware. You can’t link the weapons table from within FG, you would need to add that into the xml file of a module in order to do that.
