View Full Version : What’s the chances of an official RuneQuest Glorantha ruleset?

What’s the best way to get an official response on plans for a licensed version of RuneQuest Glorantha.

Obviously, there is already an official ruleset for Cthulhu and BRP, which are similar in many respects.

Is there any likelihood of one for RQG? If so, what is the likely timescale? If not, can anyone perhaps shed light on the thinking process for me.

I’ve spoken with Chaosium, and they said they’re keen to get RQG on FG, but these are ultimately decisions for FG and it’s coders.

I know coreRPG has utility to run a basic game for any system, but an official product would be amazing for those like me who aren’t very tech savvy, and are burning to play RQG with distant friends.

Cheers.

It requires a DEV with interest in the ruleset and time....

Ah - that makes sense. Here’s hoping.

In the meantime, here's the start of a character sheet

Bump and a thank you to Azaran. Now I have a true reason to pick up the BRP rules. I was starting to think I needed to go to Roll20 to run my Runequest: Gloranatha game.
Still on the fence, but big thanks to you.

Just updated it last night to with a family tab and runes on the powers tab. Let me know if you would like any other features

It's already being worked on by a dev, but I can't find who's doing it. I want to let them them know that I have mods for the complete CoreRulebook, to include tokens, I did it all myself, but I don't think he needs to "re-invent the wheel", I can probably save him tons of time.

Based on what it says in the twitter, it looks like MadBeardMan is likely the developer (he does do lots of development).

I've seen other stuff from him too but I know he's been very busy in the multitude of other rulesets that he's working on such as COC 7e, traveler, Woin and vampire.

It's true, he's quite busy. We need to invent cloning technology to create more MadBeardMen... :)

Now that’s a faction I wouldn’t want to cross
