This extension adds a simple interface to convert coinage for D&D 5e.

The players character sheet has a new button added to the currency section of the inventory tab. The player can open the converter, and quickly switch between coin types. This does all the math for you. Convert single coins, or large numbers of coins at once.

The extension is available on DMsGuild at https://www.dmsguild.com/product/318933/Fantasy-Grounds-Coin-Converter?affiliate_id=712946

This extension currently only supports 5e. If there is enough interest in adding additional rulesets I will consider it. However, the rulesets must have a well defined currency system and conversion rates.

Version
1.4 - made upconversions simpler. If you attempt to convert up and dont put in enough coins, it will attempt to convert the minimum required to produce a converted coin. For example, if you accidently leave the "# to convert" field at 1, and try to convert CP to PP, it will instead, attempt to convert 1000 CP which would result in an output of 1 PP.

This theme is looking awesome SirMotte. Alas, this is only for FGU and not FGC. Once I move over, I'll definitely be using this though.

With expanded currency options (adding additional values and denominations), would this still work? By which, I mean, does it look to the currency settings for the campaign and the value fields?

Its a good idea. It would take some rework of the UI, but it could make it generic for all rulesets. I'll dig into it.

Looks like the new update is causing this ext some issues.

Thanks, I am working on it. As users of this ext, do you prefer the current layout with buttons for each coin type? or would you prefer a more simple From/To dropdown lists. with a more generic list, I could probably make it more generic and likely usable in other rulesets.

Drop downs are cool but really it is whatever you think is doable.
