So in classic we could move the dice to a new home position. Is that no longer and option in Unity? The wiki says it is done the same as it was in classic but the right click options are not there for me.

Just drag the dice somewhere else. There is no right click option other than to put them back.

When I drag a die to another location it just rolls it and puts the original back

I have the same behavior and would very much love to move my dice. I didn't realize it was an option, because I can't find a way to do it.

I confirmed, dice position is not movable per the UI yet. It's not listed in the known differences or issues.

Looks like it's not implemented. You'll have to write an extension if you want your dice moved. Such as this one; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?28339-Moving-All-Dice
