Is there a way to implement a permanent effect? For damages or trait boost it’s easy but I’m looking at a race trait damage resistance for example. The teifling resist fire. Do I need to code an effect and make sure it’s loaded all the time or is there a way to write it somewhere so FG knows it forever?

Good Day and Welcome Chuckdtv :)
Once the character is on the Combat Tracker you can add the effect and it will remain until the character is removed from the CT and that is not usually needed during a campaign. :)

When you create the effect leave the duration blank and leave the expiry to never. The effect will then stay on the character on the combat tracker for as long as the character remains in the combat tracker.

Ok, that's what I though. It gets pretty crowdy in the CT if you get to higher levels and have a couple of those "permanent" effects.

thanks for your help, BTW, great videos of effects Zacchaeus, I always get back to this when I get lost creating effects.
