How can I put a Spell like Mage Hand onto an Item with uses?

Hello, Hope everyone is doing well. I am a little stumped and am hoping I could get some help. I am trying to create an item that would allow the user to cast Mage Hand 3 times and refresh after a long rest. Is this possible and if so how?

Create a power group for the item in the actions tab, drag the Mage hand spell and drop it onto the power group header. Go into preparation mode and change the number of use to three and change the period to day.
