Is it possible to extract a map from one of the WotC modules? I'd like to combine the Swoard Coast maps from LMoP and PotA. The .dat-file asks for a password, and I cant find a command to export a map/image.
Going via screenshots seems a bit heavy-haded and old-fashioned.

No, there's no way to do this. The modules are all protected.

Oh, well. I just noticed that the maps have a different scale anyway.

I believe you can find the maps for purchase on the artists' websites. At least you usually can, not sure if these specific maps are.

You can find full size version of many of those maps (for sale) at https://prints.mikeschley.com/ by the artist. They typically have a preset grid but otherwise are great.

I kinda wanted to pull the maps from the B2 Keep on the Borderlands into my own copy of Goodman Games' Into the Unknown (a 5e adaptation of B1 and B2). But I get why they can't let you copy the maps. (Workaround, the Universal Module Extension, and share them to the users from B2 instead)

You can use maps from different WOTC products as tiles and combine them as needed. Just pull them up from the Assets > Images screen and drag them to the Images & Maps window for arrangement.

If you are using FGU, correct?

That is correct. FGC doesn't have Assets
