This may sound like a stupid question but I am trying to use Engineer suite to import NPC's.

When I do it, the mod file does not show up in FGU.

Through some research I have found that after I create the MOD file in Engineer suite I need to unzip it and re zip it.

UNZIPPING I am using winrar. easy enough, I even see the files I've created, WOO HOO!!!

RE-ZIPPING (or just zipping) wont this make a zip file and not a mod file? Im happy to use a different program if winrar is not the best option.

am I just overthinking this?

Thanks in advance

Make sure it is a zip format and then just change the extension to mod.

Thank you! I was going to do that, and I thought I cant just change the extension. Hopefully that works!

Cheers!

Don't use winrar to zip it back up. FG doesn't understand .rar files. Make sure you zip it with the built in windows zipper.
