View Full Version : Is it possible to duplicate all monster stats to make a new NPC?

Hi,

I am new to FG, so maybe this can easily be done but I could not figure out a way to do it. I am using Fantasy Grounds Unity.

The problem I ran into preparing for my last session is that I wanted to make a kobold with a few extra options added. What I would have wanted to do is copy the kobold stat block from the DMG, and then add/remove to modify it. However, I could not find a function to do that.
Instead, I made a new NPC, and typed over all the traits/features/attacks (I also could not drag+drop e.g. the sunlight sensitivity).

Is there a way to make a copy of an NPC statblock for easier modification of existing monsters/NPCs?

Thanks!

Open the NPC list and then click on the monster you want to edit and drag it and drop it back into the window. This will create a copy of the monster which you can then unlock and edit.
