So is there a way to grant a long or short rest to select characters without giving it to all characters? If not sorry but thats ridiculous.

Yes. The DM can rest a single character but its not immediately obvious how.

To rest a character, have the DM open the characters sheet, right click on the portrait in the top left, and select rest. then you can choose a long or short rest.

Hi, I don't think there is in Fantasy Grounds at the moment. I do know of an extension on dmsguild. It's called dmtools https://www.dmsguild.com/product/310505/DM-Tools-Fantasy-Grounds, which allows you to grant short or long rest to one individual PC. You will also need the Critically Awesome Essential https://www.dmsguild.com/product/261591/?affiliate_rem=878507, for dmtools to work though. Some features are not implemented yet in FGU, but most are working.

They offer some good extra's to the game which you may like, but they do cost some.

Just saw mattekure's post so yes its possible without an extensions :)!

What ruleset are you referring to? If posting in a generic forum (like the Tavern) please remember to indicate what ruleset you're using. Different rulesets have different functionality, and so it helps us to help you better (and not waste everyone's time). Thanks!

For the record, you can right-click and give a rest just about anywhere on the character sheet window that isn't a data entry field. Doesn't have to the the token.
