Hi guys,

Wanted to share how we plan to integrate video during gameplay in fantasy grounds.

We use an application to duplicate a window and overlay this on top of Fantasy Grounds.
There is an option in preferences for mac app: (put on top), that will always put this window on top of the other even if you click on another window, which would normally prompt it to be moved to the back. I am still waiting for the windows application to be trialed by one of our players.

For Mac we use: https://apps.apple.com/app/id590463794
For windows (this link was posted on FGs before): https://github.com/LorenzCK/OnTopReplica

We still have to play test if the apps are working properly, but wanted to share this upfront for anyone else who might me interested in experimenting with this.

Will report back when we've tested it :)!

Cheers,
Vaughn

Good thought for single monitor users, though off the top of my head i can't think of anyone that i play fg with or that's into computer games in general...that has only one monitor these days.

We dont use video much anymore but when we do we use our second monitor. Fg requires a lot of space. Particularly if you dm...i have a 35 inch widescreen and with story maps ct and notes open it still gets busy.

Yes, some of our players are playing from a laptop and don't have a second screen, so especially for them. But for myself, even though I have an extra monitor, I stretch FGU over the an extra monitor and laptop screen(setup laptop 13inch + monitor), I still need all the space I can get so for me its also very useful, cause me laptop screen is not so big :)

I always use FG on a single screen.

Says the Immortal Supreme Deity... :D I usually use 1 and 1/2 screens for FG using the other half screen for PDFs, One Note, or some other reference material.
