Question on weapon coding

What is the Hit: ? (1d1 +0)

The "Hit:" is the damage, with the number before the parenthesis being the average damage, the number before the "d" being the number of dice, the number after being the dice size, and the last number being the ability modifier that gets added to the damage.

So a creature with 12 (+1) strength wielding a short sword would be "Hit: 5 (1d6 + 1) piercing"
