I'm new to 5E and FG, and wondering, why does FG have a modifier toggle for opporunity attacks?

AFAIK, opportunity attacks shouldn't impose any modifiers to attack rolls for the sake of being opportunity attacks.

Thank you, I was wondering the same and I was too embarrassed to ask. XD

Some effects allow the descriptor opportunity which means that this effect is then only be taken into account when the attack is an opportunity attack :) E.g. AC: 2, opportunity would be an effect which gives you a bonus of 2 to AC, but only against opportunity attacks :) (by the way, pressing shift while rolling attack will define the attack also as AoO)

Much obliged! :)
