Hello,
is rolemaster classic compatible with FGU or should i wait to buy it?

They are different editions so I'd say no, let's also consider that RMU is still not out as a final product so making a ruleset or an extension for it would be a time consuming task for the person in charge since they'd have to be constantly looking for updates and changes in the rules that might or might not be a hassle to program.
However, there is an extension to change from RM Classic to RM FRP so there's hope for the future of RMU in Fantasy Grounds.
