Can players edit their PCs in a campaing?

I'm currently running my first campaing on FGC, I bought the ultimate license and some of my friends downloaded the demo. Within the campaign I always load them PC's before playing, but some changes are made throughout the game, this changes made by them remain like that? And is there any tip to anything related to this?

Any edits made to PCs within a campaign remain for the PCs changed from session to session.

I’m not sure what kind of tips you’re looking for.

Tip: think of FG like if you are sitting around a table. Everyone has the sheet in front of them and a pencil. They are responsible for updating their sheet when anything changes, and changes don't require a GM approval (only trust).

And the character sheets are handed to the GM when the session is done (ie closes their FG session.)
