Hi again,

There is a system called Yggdrasill about viking/norse mythology/setting. One thing I like about it is the critical system whereas anytime you roll the highest damage number on a dice you can keep rolling it. SO if you land a critical and your damage would be 2d10+STR and you get: 2+10 on the dice you would roll the 10 again, and while you continuously get another 10 you would continuously roll another d10 until you get anything but a 10.

Can I somehow replicate this into FG. Either as a default mechanic for how I homebrew my criticals or as a magic weapon that would have that effect? I mean it automatically of course, to have FG know that it should keep rolling another d10 when he gets a 10.

Yeah I know, I want to make my life harder, but still......

Thanks.

You’ll need an extension to do that similar to this maybe. I believe Savage Worlds has exploding dice too so maybe dig into the code there. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?34431-New-Extension-TheoGeek-s-Improved-Critical

FGU also has exploding dice, but I'm not sure how they are implemented / available in the 5E ruleset.

The extension above is good enough for me, at least until I get my hands on Unity. A question in that, would Unity allow me to extend into 2 displays?

I've got a ruleset for Yggdrasill (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B75Lr5C1Hpx3dklHUEptYm40dTQ/view?usp=sharing) that does the dice mechanic.
