View Full Version : 4e Advantage, Disadvantage and Inspiration extension

Building off Kelrugem's (dis)advantage extension and with the help of Valeros and Damned, this extension adds "Advantage" and "Disadvantage" as an effect. This extension also adds an Inspiration button.

To give Advantage, created an effect with "Advantage" in the text field. Select ROLL and the effect is removed after roll.

The Inspiration icon replaces the AP spent icon on both the big Character Sheet and the Mini Character Sheet. Action Points still work, but can be tracked in the Powers section.
Inspiration is a blank icon until the GM gives an Inspiration to the player. The GM or Player can select the Inspiration icon giving it a color as a reminder that the Player has Inspiration to use.
When the Player is ready to use Inspiration, the Player selects the Inspiration colored icon which grants Advantage to the Player. After the roll, the effect is removed from the player.

G'day there. Is there a way to set up effects like these in the PC sheet/CT, so they trigger automatically?

Egs: Danger Sense: "Benefit: When you make an initiative check, roll twice and take the higher of the two rolls"

Wild Senses: Benefit: Whenever you make a Perception check to find tracks, you roll twice and use either result. You also gain a +3 feat bonus to initiative checks. and other feats that allow you to roll twice and use the best one"

I've been playing with the syntax in the CT but have bombed out...

Looks like part can be automated but the Advantage (roll 2 take best) will have to be clicked by the player to activate it.
