I've been stuck on "Starting cloud server mode" since yesterday! Anyone else have this problem? Is this a problem on my end or FGU's end?

Build? Ruleset? New Campaign? What do the logs say? Have you restarted your computer? Does it repeat?
In short, please give us more information on your setup and how to reproduce the issue.

Unity build (updated to May 15) I've tried multiple rulesets (5e, PF2, core...) All have the same problem. I've restarted computer. I've just uninstalled and reinstalled. Same problem. I can't create or load a game. I'm an a mac (Mohave).

It's still hung on the starting screen after 12 minutes. Eventually, it closes the connection after failing for about 45 minutes.

It finally timed out after about 70 minutes:

I'm going to try restarting and uninstalling again I guess. I can't think of anything else to troubleshoot. Can you at least tell me if anyone is having this issue?

As I said on Discord I don't know much about macs and I haven't seen reports of this issue. You'll need one of the devs to look at the console logs to see if they can at least point you as to what the issue might be. They may not be able to reply immediately.

I am running FGU4.0.0 ULTIMATE (05-15-2020) which updated this morning. The new update did not import an IPv6 number from my machine. I am unable to edit this field within the FGU program. I hope this helps in debugging

35573 Mine has no IPv6 internal but there is one external. Attached is a screenshot. Earlier today I had no internal or external IPv6.

Patch.fantasygrounds.com is blocked. Says Forbidden.
Im not sure if that’s a problem.

I dont know why the ping didnt work but the trace route and http/https session worked fine so that is probably a herring.
Are you able to load a NEW corerpg server?
Are you able to load a new 5E server?
All without extensions or modules?

No, I can't load or create 5e or corerpg. That's without modules or extensions. Only LAN works

Are you possibly on an LTE/4G connection?
Can you connect to a hosted game? try my game: damned
You are probably going to need to send teh console.log and network.log to
[email protected]
Include as much other info as you can - ISP, computer specs, anything else you think might be useful.

So you are not able to establish/maintain a connection with the lobby server
Are you possibly on an LTE/4G connection?

As in - what is your internet connection? ive seen some issues where the user was on a LTE/4G network.

No, it’s not an LTE/4G. It’s cable internet to modem to router then WiFi or Ethernet to Mac. No LTE/4G.

The update patch allowed me into my own games and gave me an internal Ip6 router address.

I read through each page of this particular thread, and had no problem pinging the below routes.
can you ping -
update.fantasygrounds.com
patch.fantasygrounds.com
Then I followed damned's suggestion to create a NEW core rpg game (named it TEST) and it let me right in.
I dont know why the ping didnt work but the trace route and http/https session worked fine so that is probably a herring.
Are you able to load a NEW corerpg server?
Are you able to load a new 5E server?
All without extensions or modules?
So I went back to the original game/campaign I was trying to load the first time and - like the 'NEW' game - it let me right in.

Had the same cloud server mode issue with multiple repeated failures - could ping all the things and open the patch website.
Created a new 5e game, cloud-private, which launched fine.
Went back to my campaign and it launched successfully.
