View Full Version : Tutorial on Maps and map linking?

OK...I clearly need a tutorial with FGU. In FGC all I did was open one map and drag the icon for another map onto the first one. So the first map might be a map of the countryside and when players got close to the dungeon there was a pushpin waiting which I could click on and be taken to the dungeon map.

In FGU it puts the entire map on top of the original map and makes both unusable. Can someone point me to the tutorial that will show me how I can still do map based campaigns, so when my PCs stumble across a specific hex I can see (but they cant) the red pushpin which takes me to whatever map, note or encounter I have planned? It worked great and very simply, I might add, in FGC.
Thanks for any help...looks like this FGU will be a long journey.

You can only link images onto another image by dragging their link from the sidebar Images list, not from assets.
