Any thoughts? Like I said, I have 4 players that connected without any issues. It's just this one player that keeps having a hard time. This was happening with Fantasy Grounds Classic as well, with the same player.

I am the player with the issue. Is there any info from me needed?

We tired connectoing to another players server and was connected be data transfer was 60ish bites a sec. Do not understand why that would be.

I also had the player connect to my server as a test. He connected but stuck on acquiring files. Watching my network traffic I had a 60-69B/sec connection feeding him information.

As a note last week on FGC he was sitting for 20 minutes before finally getting into the game.

Attached is my network log. The client is the 107 address.

What's your internet speed both upload and download speeds per something like speedtest.net?

Do you have Advanced Security from your ISP? (Such as Cox, Xfniity, shaw, or Comcast) QoS on your Router? Or Flood Protection or Parental Controls?

My speed is 44/10 Mbps on an Australian ISP (AussieBB). WarAdmiral is on AT&T I believe.

AT&T 20/8 Mbps. FG is the only thing I have trouble connecting to.

They are not on one of those networks but they do look like they might be on a wireless or LTE network.
Ive seen other issues with people trying to connect on LTE unsuccessfully.

It is a wireless network. Its normally double that, but with the pandemic I cant get someone to come out unless it totally goes out.

Like I said I have zero issues with anything else, its on FG.

Hmmm... maybe not Wireless? His IP address is coming from all over the place including the Middle East...

Its AT&T Fixed wireless is what its called. I live in a very rural area and its the best option thats not satellite.

Note, I'll leave you guys to Damned, he's much more knowledgeable on these types of things than me.

In hopes that something can be done to help, he's able to see the server from the list, he's able to enter the password, but it gets to the connecting screen and just sits there. I don't even see a message in chat telling me he's connected.

I'm not much of a tech guy, so any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: In the log, it's telling him Attempting Authorization...

Update... No change after a couple of hours of sitting at the authorization screen.

Can you remove the password and test?

We tried removing the password, but no luck. He just sits at the acquiring files screen. He sat there for an hour before he gave up.

We finally got this sorted out, but it makes zero sense. He decided to give his hotspot a try and that worked. Great.. but what was really strange is, he tried his normal fixed wifi connection, the connection that hadn't been working at all, and now that works perfectly. No hotspot needed. Go figure...
