Random Encounters table

Hi I'm a very new user of Fantasy Grounds (I have the Ultimate). I have a question that probably can be considered as a stupid question.

I have created a table to roll random encounters can the roll be made by the players or only DM can do it?

Well if you are referring to the generate button on the record, that is GM only. You can share or even ask players to roll and then setup a table to output to an encounter. So multiple ways to accomplish the same thing.
