New Magic Items Without Forge?

Is there a way to create magic items without needing to fuse two items together?

For example, if I wanted to create an item called the Book of Platitudes, can I make the item without also needing fuse it with a non-magical book?

Yes. You can either just create a totally new blank item record and fill it out (right click on item list background > create new) or take an existing item and duplicate it (drag it back onto the Item list) and then edit it.

You're welcome :) Glad to have you with us. I always use the second method, that way I don't misspell and item type and I get all the correct fields for the item type from the start.
