So, after 5+ years of hiatus I am looking at getting back into playing, GMing in particular.
I am new to FG.
I am working on a Battlestar Gaclactica one shot for 4-6 players.
I am going to have a dogfight.
2x PCs have their own Vipers, 1x PC flies a raptor, I also have 2x NPC Viper Pilots.
When I play I want the 3 players that are not assigned a ship to do something. One player is easy just have him support by co-piloting the Raptor or using the Raptor's electronics to help others evade missiles.
The other two players I want to control NPC Viper Pilots and this is where I run into trouble. How do I do this?
In general though, how do I do NPCs operating a vehicle.
PS.
An additional problem is the Cylon fighter. It is a character in itself and does not have a pilot. Currently I made it up as a Vehicle with notes on its Piloting skill and Electronics skill. I then just roll the dice as the GM. Is there a better way to do this?
