I am trying to run FGU on a multi-user Mac,
The problem I am having is that, when I try to run FGU on a 2nd account on my computer, the FGU update won't run to allow setting account information for this user.
Details:
1. FGU 2020-04-29
2. FGU Updater 2020-04-24
3. Mac OS Mojave
4. User A (admin user) can run FGU and FGU updater, account used for installation, settings include Ultimate License and associated account info
5. User B (tried either standard or admin), can run FGU, launches as demo user
6. If User B attempts to Join Campaign, connection isn't possible, as an account is required (screenshot of message attached)
7. If User B selects Settings (or Check for Updates), a window briefly flashes (normal for this action on User A-maybe a launching script) but FGU-Updater does not run.
The end result is that I can't enter an FGU account for User B.
(aside)
I am trying to run virtual tabletop for local play in my family. What I am trying to accomplish is having a second user (logged in on a demo license) on a MacBook, connected to a LAN game running on a 2nd Mac (using the Ultimate license to host a game). I can't run the User A accounts on both computers, as the second instance causes a license conflict, I can run two instances on the same Mac under the single Ultimate license, and broadcast this to a TV screen using Airplay, but that doesn't give the player the ability to open information or independently manage their character.
