Keyboard shortcut to enter / leave drawing mode

Help me wise ones!

Is there any way to enter or leave the drawing tools mode without using the right-click radial dials?

Hoping for a keyboard shortcut or a way I could put it on the quick access bar along the bottom.

No, it's right click all the way.

Somewhat related question. Is using the left & right click option to create a pointer the only way to "ping" a location on the map for connected clients?

You could draw on the map as well. But using a pointer is the easiest. There isn't a 'ping' function as such.

One point - and I answered above before I checked. But you can enter drawing mode via the toggle at the top right of the map. Click the little down arrow thingie to the left of the loack icon to reveal the drawing an eraser tools.
