View Full Version : FGU: My players are not able to claim their characters unless I "release" ownership?

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but my players are struggling to claim their characters when logging into a new session of our saved campaign. We are all new to the platform.

We are using Unity. I'm GM.
Characters are there and I see them as owned by the correct players.
When they log on they have trouble picking them from the PC folder.

If I clear ownership, they can claim them.

Is this right?

For example:
Player 1 usually plays character A
When Player 1 logs off, I still see Character A as owned by Player 1. Which is fine.
When Player 1 logs back on, he can't select Character A again.
When I clear ownership, he can.

Any thoughts to why this might be?

In the image below, StoicalZebra logged in and tried to claim Olaf. He couldn't til I cleared it.

There was a problem similar to this that was happening some fixes back. Does everyone have the latest update?

It can take a few seconds for the owned characters to actually appear to the player.
