Whispered Dice Roll?

Question... I think this has been answered before but I couldn't find it right off the bat. How do players send a whispered dice roll to the GM. I've placed it in whisper mode and rolled the dice on the chat screen and a little dice symbol appears... Am I missing something else?

I don't think you can, which is kind of unfortunate.

When the group I DM was playing face-to-face, we had a box that people would roll dice into when they needed to make a hidden roll. They liked it because it put them in control of their destiny but didn't spoil the nature of the die rolls, and I liked it because it was less work for me ;)
