Adding pack to inventory of a new character

I tried to add a burglar's pack to a character, but it was added as burglar's pack single item, instead of several separate items (for each item in the pack).
But earlier, with another character and adventurer pack, it was expanded automatically into all included items.

ANy idea why it does not expand the same way when adding the burglar's pack? (from DD5E SRD)

I’ll need to have a look tomorrow. Fairly sure that should work.

I had a player report that as well. If I as GM put the pack in the players inventory it was a single item. If the player did it then it was all the things.

This was as of last week so if it was fixed after May 5th we would of missed it.

Mh, I created a character two days ago, and had same issue, this time with a scholar pack.
However, thanks for the tip regarding doing it as the player, will try it.
